CAMP THS – January 2026

Camp THS is a camping ground run at Tamworth High School during the Tamworth Country Music Festival (TCMF) each January.

​

Unpowered camp sites for tents and big-rigs are available on a large area at the back of the school and powered sites are suitable for caravans and motor homes.

​

Entry is via Jean Street with toilets, showers and BBQ facilities on site. The site is away from the busy centre of town, has excellent access to buses and is very close to Coles South Tamworth, Scully Park Swimming Pool, West’s Leagues Club and other venues.

 

Dates for Tamworth Country Music Festival 2026 are Friday 16 January – Sunday 25 January. Camp THS is open from Friday 16 January – Sunday 25 January. Check-in is made within the Tamworth High School Cafeteria on arrival. Setting up of sites prior to check in is not permitted. 

 

Check in will be on Thursday 14 January from 9am to 12 noon.   Anyone wanting to check in after this time will need to call and arrange. Phone: 0447 484 711.

 

Departure is required by 12noon on the last day of your stay.

 

To book your site for 2026 please email thspandc@gmail.com and make a $100 non-refundable deposit. Balance of fees is to be paid by 31 October 2025 to secure your spot.

 

ALL BOOKINGS HAVE A MINIMUM 10 NIGHTS STAY

(Fee for staying for a shorter time will not be discounted).

 

No pets permitted on school grounds.

 

The 2026 Country Music Festival runs from Friday 16 January to Sunday 25 January.

Booking dates are from Thursday 15 January to Sunday 25 January 2025.

 

•  Powered Sites

  • $600 – under shelter

  • $500 – other powered sites

 

Please note that power outlets are 10amps or 15amps. It is recommended to bring 2 x 20 metre power extension leads with an approved weather-proof joiner to ensure reach to the power point for your site.

 

NOTE that as multiple outlets run off certain circuits, these can be overloaded if multiple high-draw appliances are run at the same time. For example an electric kettle is run whilst the caravan air-conditioning is on.

 

• Un-Powered Sites

  • $350 – unpowered sites

 

All campers should bring 2 x 20 metre hoses with appropriate joiner to ensure reach of the tap allotted to your site.   All correspondence regarding bookings is to email thspandc@gmail.com.

 

Note that all sites must be vacated by 12 noon on Sunday 26th January, or 12 noon on the final booked date, whichever is earlier.
